Hey everybody =)

And once again, Thumps' biannual blog shall be posted.  Quite a bit has happened since my last posting.  Let's see, the most major change has been a parting of ways with my aforementioned gf.   It's been pretty rough, but I've been extremely fortunate to have had quality friends to help me through.  I would say I'm doing better now, getting used to the changes it has brought, and really looking at what my life is about.

I've been meandering my way back to Him, I would say, which is not quite the run I would like it to be, but at the same time, I'm doing the best I can.  I realize that things are not as ideal as I would like them to be, or perhaps had once believed them to be.  At the same time, I also realize that this has led me to what I feel is a more real experience in a lot of arenas.

Hmm. . Technical Communications has apparently done nothing to improve my writing skills.   Lousy words.  =)

On a lighter note, I've recently checked out Friendster, and quickly became a freakin Friednster Retard.  I'm so weak when it comes to these things.  For some reason, it fascinates me to reconnect with people from so long ago.

I don't really know what else to write at this point.  I know there are those who think it's retarded to talk about daily comings and goings.  Quite frankly, I think if I spoke about my daily life, anybody who could potentially be reading this would gouge their eyes out, and cry from the pure dorkosity of it all.  =) I'm working on that.  We'll see how it goes.

I'll just say that I'm glad to see so many people doing well.  It makes me feel like there's hope out there.  And that, my friends, is what it's all about.  Take it easy folks.

Okay Okay Okay. . . Wow, my own blog.  Always seen these, never thought I'd do one.  It's a shame I'm not poetic or insane or something in between.  So welcome to my mumbling, rumblings, and whatnots, I hope they give you an insight into the daily runnings of my mind and anything else that might slip out while I'm not looking.  At the moment it's semi late at night and I'm sitting here in my apartment deciding whether or not I want to sleep early tonight so I'm not passing out at work tomorrow. .

Maybe a few minutes more.

I haven't really done much today, although I had a terrific weekend, better than most I would say.  I spent most of the afternoon with my brother looking for houses.  He's planning on buying a house while the interest rates are low, and I'm planning on taking up one of his rooms so as to avoid wasting any more rent money.  Unfortunately, all the really nice houses that aren't a gazillion billion dollars, are also way out in the boondocks, i.e. Issaquah.  So we're looking at some pretty nice squares of dirt and weeds out in Issaquah Heights.  Apparently, people who buy houses nowadays don't actually buy houses, they buy squares of dirt and weeds whereupon their houses are built AFTER the said purchase.  What a great scam, I think it would be hilarious to build somebody a wacky house after they've already paid for whatever it was that they were expecting.  Well, that is . . as long as it's not my house.

Other than that, I spent most of the weekend with my fantabulous girlfriend Han at her parents house for a BBQ party.  We ate some steak and salad, and a pasta dish that Han and I made consisting of those screwlike pasta and eggplant.  Very deliciouso.  Would have been more so if I hadn't charred some of the eggplant slices on the grill instead of lightly toasting them.  But Han-i said it was good, so I'll take her word for it.

hmmm. .past midnight, I really should hit the sack, okay fast forward through the rest of the weekend.  I'm suspecting that I'll have a few of these along the way with this Blog:

Spoons was hilarious, and Son has absolutely no tastebuds left in his mouth.  That can be the only logical explanation.

Baseball was great, if only my arm hadn't popped out of my shoulder socket.  Or at least that's what it felt like.  I'm such a wuss. =)

T3 was good, and the end was much better than expected.  I liked the part where. . . hehe nevermind. Oh, Arnie looks pretty much like he used to in the old Terminator movies except for his sagging middle aged tush.

Harry Potter rocks, and there's no way I can wait another three years for the next one.

Gasworks fireworks are much better when you don't spend 10 hours guarding your spot on the hill.

Afternoon naps are the secret to happiness. =)

I need to talk to Him more and soon.  I miss our rambling conversations.

G'night folks, I'm hooked.  Hope you all are having a wonderful Monday.

Hi Tera.  Sucka!  Here's your blog entry for today, hope it satiates your thirst for Thumps's Blogs.  I shall enter a second blog in a few minutes if this thing permits, which shall have more content. . .just testing to see if this thing works as expected.  Cheers to all!
